GHEDirect Mailbag – Customer Reviews (October ’24)

By now you should know that we pride ourselves on our customer service, and endeavour to give the highest level of pre-sales support and aftercare we possibly can.

We strive to ensure that when you order from us online, you get looked after as if you were visiting us in person. 

With that said, it is aways great to hear from our customers, and the reviews keep getting better and better! Recently we have had quite a few reviews that have made us smile, and we thought we would share a couple of them with you here…

Hiya Helen,

Just wanted to drop you an email to say that my Hailea V60 Air Pump arrived as promised the next day and now I have very happy fishes in my pond!! I want to thank you for your help on Friday morning making sure you had a pump in stock and the fab customer service experience I have had from start to finish, including delivery – its so good to know that there are companies out there that still do what they promise when they promise it – something that I’m sure you find sadly lacking sometimes. We are all too quick to moan, but not very quick off the mark to say when we are pleased. I made myself a New Year’s resolution to contact people/companies that were great, and it’s been a really positive thing to do that I am going to make sure I do it going forward after this year as well.

Below is a photo of my grateful fish – just for your amusement on a Monday morning!!

So, the fish in the hoop are:

– On the left, orange fish – Monty
– Orange and black fish – Obee
– Black and white fish – Joe
– On the right, white fish – Tonto
– On the right, red/white/black fish – Splodge 

The little orange headed fish to the far left of the photo is Del. The most polite fish I have known!! Come feeding time, he doesn’t fight for his food with the others (although no one goes without as I do feed them all by hand) he just waits patiently by the side of the hoop for me to feed him. He then goes off up the other end of the pond, chewing his food and won’t come back for anymore until he has finished the first lot and his mouth is empty!!

Joe and Sploge like to be petted also, they like to be smoothed on the head, and they like me running my hands along their sides. The others aren’t bothered!!

So, I hope I’ve made your Monday a little brighter!!

Fabulous customer service, brilliant product choice, rapid delivery.

From start to finish, this really was a brilliant experience. I was particularly impressed with the great advice Adam gave me on the phone – tailor-making his recommendation to my specific needs. I was delighted to receive the next day my X-stream propagator and lights ( as recommended by gardening expert Bunny Guinness), an LED system for seedlings put together by Adam, and the right heating tube for my little growhouse.

Helen was very supportive in processing the order to ensure timely delivery of the items I needed right away. A few weeks on, I couldn’t be more delighted with the results – my cuttings have rooted and the seedlings have done brilliantly. In fact I made some pesto today from some of them. Spot on advice, Adam, thank you!

It’s so uplifting to have such a brilliant retail experience when elsewhere the norm can be quite the opposite these days. Thank you GHE Direct.
