How Does CarboLoad Work?
Plants make their own sugars through photosynthesis. CarboLoad adds a separate carbohydrate source to the growing medium, where beneficial microbes can use it to support their activity. These microbes play a role in maintaining a productive root environment.

How to Use Liquid CarboLoad
Add 2ml per litre of water, following your bottle’s instructions. The current manufacturer chart includes vegetative weeks 1–4 and flowering weeks 1–7, stopping before the final flush.
- Prepare your base nutrient solution.
- Add CarboLoad and mix thoroughly.
- Add any other required supplements separately, mixing between additions.
- Check the final EC and follow your base nutrient programme’s guidance for pH management.
Never mix concentrated nutrients or additives directly together. Always dilute each product separately in water.
Do I Need CarboLoad Alongside Bud Candy?
Bud Candy already contains carbohydrate sources found in CarboLoad, so using both is generally unnecessary. Choose the product that fits your feeding programme rather than doubling up on carbohydrate supplements.
