Essentials Plus Calmag is a calcium and magnesium supplement with added iron and nitrogen It is an essential additive for plants during prolonged vegetative growth or when deficiency is observed. Calcium is important for strong cell walls and root development, plant processes and photosynthesis. Magnesium is important for plant growth and health and is a building block for chlorophyll. Iron acts as an enzyme cofactor and is important for photosynthesis. A lack of iron limits growth. Nitrogen is essential for growth and biomass production and the formation of chlorophyll. The combination of all these elements improves the overall performance of your plants, resulting in healthier growth and colour.

Use
Apply Calmag at  1ml per litre of nutrient solution alongside any other nutrients or additives and use throughout growth and flowering stages.

Tips
Calmag is beneficial for plants grown in all media but is almost essential for plants grown in coco coir.
With this in mind it can be a huge advantage to pre treat the coco before potting on, simply fill the pots or planters with coco and drench with a solution of calmag at 1ml per litre of water until you see some run off, leave overnight before potting on.
This simple process can really help to avoid deficiencies.
