IEC Extension Lead 3m – up to 660 Watts
A 3metre IEC Extension Lead rated for use with lamps and ballasts up to 660 watts. Featuring a female IEC connector to male IEC connector, they are suitable for use with most ballasts, reflectors and LED fixtures that use IEC connectors. Please make sure that when you are using extension leads for HID, your ballast is built to ignite the lamp over long distances. Some ballasts are able to ignite a lamp from up to 15 metres from the ballast.
Use
IEC Extension Leads can be used to extend the distance between ballast and reflector or ballast and LED fixture, they can also be used to extend the power lead of most items that use an IEC 'kettle lead', as long as the item is rated at under 660 watts.
Also useful for linking together suitable TLED and T5 fixtures that then only require 1 power lead for multiple units.
