Opticlimate Water Coolers
**This is a special order item**
Once the order is placed we will contact you to confirm the lead time for delivery.
These coolers allow for the use of Opticlimate Water Cooled Climate Control Systems without the need to connect to a mains water supply.
The water cooler cools the hot water produced by the OptiClimate system. Since the water cooler works with a closed system, there is no evaporation. The water cooler cools by transferring heat from a liquid to colder ambient air, so the water cooler unit must be placed outside. This system only needs to be filled once. The water or glycol remains inside the system.
Choosing a Water Cooler
When choosing a water cooler to suit your Opticlimate Water Cooled, you will need to select a model with at least the same KW rating as your Opticlimate.
Examples below:
- Opti 3500 = 4.5kw Water Cooler
- Opti 6000 = 9kw Water Cooler
- Opti 10000 = 12kw Water Cooler
- Opti 15000 = 17kw Water Cooler
A Water Cooler can be used to cool multiple Opticlimate Units, for example a 12kw Water Cooler can be used cool 2 x Opticlimate 6000 Units.
Benefits of using the water cooler
– Energy consumption is low
– Very long distances can be achieved between the indoor and outdoor units
– Air conditioning engineers and cooling gas are no longer required
– Very quiet in operation from 28 dB(A)
– Fully closed system (no water consumption once the unit is filled)
– Multiple indoor units can be connected to 1 suitably sized outdoor unit
