Porous Pipe 16mm(13mm internal)

Porous pipe(also known as leaky pipe) is constructed with an open cell, stiff sponge-like structure and is designed to gently release water, ideal for inexpensively irrigating large areas or long borders.
Another use is to create a dripper ring for irrigating individual shrubs and trees.
It can also be used to aerate liquids when connected to an air pump.
Available by the metre or on 50 and 100m rolls.

Use

Measure the area that requires irrigation, cut the pipe to size and lay the pipe on the ground or bury it.
A 13mm stop end is usually fitted to the end, the pipe can be attached to hose pipe with a 13mm joiner, connect this to pump or stand pipe and it is ready to use.
Alternatively it can be used as a circular drip ring by cutting a length, creating a loop and joining the ends together with a 13mm tee connector, this can then be connected to a water source.
As aeration pipe, it can be connected to a suitable air pump and weighted down.
