Pressed Steel Ducting Reducer
Pressed Steel Ducting Reducers provide a simple solution to connect two different sizes of ducting within a ventilation run. Produced from galvanised steel, these ducting reducers have male duct fitting joiners that allow spiral ducting and other flexible ducting to be fitted around. When fitting the ducting reducer to ensure a secure seel between the two lengths we recommend using either Fast Clamps, Jubilee Clips or tape. If you plan on attaching the ducting reducer directly between a fan and silencer (or filter) for example you will require the appropriate female duct connectors to ensure a secure seel, or use a fast clamp and fasten tightly to connect the reducer to the other equipment.
*Please Note- the size (i.e 6 inch) relates to the ducting it is ‘accepting’ not the actual diameter of the reducer itself. Below in the table is the dimensions of the fittings themselves that the ducting will fit around. If the size you require is not available, we can sometimes get these manufactured from one of our partners if required size is something out of the ordinary.
