The RAM Ultrasonic Humidifier 5 Litre is perfect for smaller growing areas, grow tents or if you only need to raise humidity by a small amount.

Features
It has a humidification rate of 400ml per hour and offers an analogue control allowing you to set the unit to produce the amount of humidity that you need.
A directional nozzle allows you to get an even distribution of mist in your growing environment.
Use
Many plants require relative humidity in excess of 50% to promote vigorous growth. This can sometimes be difficult to achieve when growing under lights due to the need to remove excess heat.
Ultrasonic humidifiers produce a fine mist to raise humidity levels, use the dial to set the level you require, it is a good idea to check this against a Thermo Hygrometer.
As most plants release moisture during the dark period, use a 24 hour timer to turn the humidifier on and off with the lights
Care
This humidifier has an ultrasonic plate that atomise water, if hard water is used these plates will become blocked with calcium carbonate, potentially invalidating the warranty.
To avoid this problem simply use filtered water, rain water or RO water.
An inline DI Resin filter is another way of removing the hardness from tap water.
