Growcast is Telos’ decentralised, wireless control system for grow lights. It eliminates the need for Wi-Fi, timers, or master controllers. Controlled via the Telos Mesh app, Growcast enables full dimming, scheduling, and automation directly from any smart device.
Sunrise and sunset transitions reduce plant stress by mimicking natural daylight cycles. This also reduces power surges when turning on large banks of lights, and helps stabilise temperature and humidity fluctuations, which reduces condensation and mildew formation. Schedule retention during power outages ensures stable growth environments and plant protection. Growcast connects directly to Telos Dynamic fixtures, drawing power with no added wiring or accessories.
The Growcast includes RJ11 Type 1 & 2 and M-12 3-Pin adaptor sockets to make it compatible with almost any controller compatible grow light. This means brands like Maxibright, Lumatek, Gavita and Dimlux can be controlled using the Growcast.
One Growcast unit can control up to 24 Dynamic fixtures (by daisy chaining them) and supports unlimited scalability for commercial grow rooms. With real-time control over PPFD and light timing, it optimises energy efficiency, reduces overexposure, and improves yield consistency.
Growcast is the most advanced and flexible lighting control solution for modern growers, with the Telos Mesh app on any smart device being compatible with both Android and iOS.
The Growcast includes a 250mm cable designed to plug directly into the driver and a 2 year Manufacturer’s Warranty. The Growcast is rated at IP65 to ensure it can withstand any growing environment.
Using several Growcast’s you can support up to 3,000 fixtures using a single Mesh network, this provides full control at the commercial scale. These capabilities paired with the ability to separate lights based on rooms (each Growcast controls a bank of lights), you can create the ideal light schedules to suit you individually.
The Telos Growcast has been designed with future-proofing capabilities, as the software can be updated and developed as needed, as long as the light has a compatible link adaptor, the Growcast will never become obsolete. One other feature of the Growcast is its privacy, once it has been set up the Growcast won’t show up as a bluetooth device for others to connect to. This private network that is then set up provides added security to prevent light schedules being tampered with.
