Coco Says – How To Deal With Powdery Mildew

Powdery Mildew is an airborne pathogen that can be identified by white powdery blotching of the leaves. Seen especially when seasons change.

Detrimental to the plants growth, and ultimately the plants yield, it takes nutrients from the host plant.

PREVENTION: Good airflow is essential for preventing powdery mildew, high humidity levels will increase the chance of it occurring. Sprays, used weekly in the vegetative stage or early flowering, can also be used to prevent it, such as Canna Cure or A.R.T.S Fungus Free.

CURE: Sprays such as Flying Skulls Nukem or A.R.T.S Fungus Free can be used to get rid of powdery mildew. Or for best results use a UV light like Clean Light to eradicate it.
