The Horizon Reflector from Maxibright
The specialist design of this reflector offers a much larger footprint and spread than standard 315 reflectors making it ideal for use over plants in the vegetative stage.
This is a wide angled reflector manufactured from highly reflective aluminium and is available in 2 versions:
Horizon Connect – This reflector mounts directly onto the ballast, like Gavita or Dimlux fixture, keeping everything tidy and out of the way.
Horizon Remote – This reflector is connected to the ballast by a 5 metre cable and IEC connector. This allows the ballast to be located outside the grow room or tent, this means that the heat produced by the ballast isn’t in the growing area.
Another great way of using this reflector is to provide supplemental light to a 2 or 4 HPS setup.
Simply add to the existing growroom or tent and use the Daylight(Blue) lamp to give full light spectrum to your plants.
As well as giving your plants a more complete spectrum, you will benefit from the UVA and UVB emitted by the 315 lamp.
UV causes plants to produce more resins and oils, the improvement in quality is obvious…

the Daylight 315 Digital Ballast is a high frequency ballast designed for use with the Philips 315 lamp, it is compact, lightweight and silent running. This ballast precisely drives Philips 315W Elite ceramic metal halide lamps; the Daylight lamp for growing and the Agro lamp for flowering.
The Daylight 315 when used with the Philips CDM lamps ensures healthy abundant yields, excellent PAR output levels per watt of power consumed and delivers outstanding results at an affordable price.

Philips Daylight and Agro CDM lamps are extremely efficient ceramic metal halide lamps with a spectral output close to natural sunlight. As a result, plants form more lateral branches, have smaller internodal spacing, more flowering sites and larger root systems, culminating in strong, healthy growth and high quality yields.
