The Growroom – Potting On Our Pumpkins

Welcome back to The Growroom!

Following on from last week’s introduction to our in-store grow room, this week we will be showing you what’s been going on with our Thai Pumpkin seedlings.

This week we have been potting on and we are going to run a comparison between using two of our recommended additives, Hydrotops Bactivator & Plant Success Great White.

1.) Root Structure
First of all, here you can really see the root structure of our Pumpkins before potting on.

2.) Potting On
Next, we are potting on into 15 pots with BioBizz Lightmix as our growing media, which we have used as it is good for seedlings where it doesn’t contain high levels of food.

3.) On to our Additives

For product research, we are going to be running a test using two of our most popular additives Bactivator and Great White.

We are going to be applying Bactivator in 5 pots, Great White in 5 pots, and pH balanced water in 5 pots.

Here we are preparing our additives… Bactivator first…

Next we add the Great White to our second set of pots…

In our third set of pots we have used pH balanced water for comparison.

Check back next week to see how the pumpkins got on!
