The Growroom – Tobacco Plant meets AutoPot [Part 3]

So we last left our tobacco plants as they were potted on into the AutoPot system, using a 15L, XL 25L, and a 18.9L smart pot.

What an easy system to use! Simply ensure your nutrient reservoir is kept topped up. The AQUAvalves have consistently ensured the plants get a balanced, fresh feed throughout their life cycle.

The tobacco has been growing leaps and bounds, both in height and breadth – and to be totally honest, would have been even larger if an eager staff member hadn’t decided to take further cuttings from the plants halfway through our test!! Also as a note to all growers, ensure your grow area is tidy and you don’t trip up and fall on one of the plants…doh!

However, even through all the adversity we as humans have placed on these plants, they are now over a meter tall from the base of the plant. Even after having further cuttings taken from them and someone topping them, they are starting to put out many flowering sites.
