We recently supplied a high-efficiency Hailea water chiller to Ilfracombe Aquarium, where it was installed not just in any tank, but in the specially designed home of their star resident: Orca, a prized Mediterranean common octopus (Octopus vulgaris).
Known for his intelligence and curiosity, Orca had been experiencing discomfort due to fluctuating water temperatures. The aquarium’s existing cooling system needed a little reinforcement to maintain the cold, stable environment essential to his health.
