A digital or magnetic ballast is a must have in any grow room setup in order to safely regulate the power going into your HID (high intensity discharge) grow lamps. (Not all bulbs are adjustable please call the store for expert advice.)
Whether you are running HPS (high pressure sodium), MH (metal halide), or CDM (ceramic discharge metal halide) bulbs, picking the right ballast is essential to ensure your lights receive the correct wattage so they can burn brightly.
