ALIEN® V-System Operation Video
As with most DWC systems, the V-System has mesh baskets to hold your plants. Plants would normally be grown in rock wool blocks which are then positioned into the mesh pot with some clay pebbles providing support.
As no heat is transferred from the pump to the water, this system works great in most environments, if the room or greenhouse gets particularly hot then a chiller can easily be connected.
The V-System contains plenty of water so an external water butt isn’t essential, a float in the header tank allows for easy connection of a water butt for automatic top up.
