Control Freak Temperature Sensor Probe – 3 Metres
This probe allows the thermostatic function to be unlocked on the Control Freak 5 Amp Fan Controller.
Now the desired temperature can be set and the controller will speed up the fan to lower the temperature or slow down when the temperature drops.

Use
Make sure that the controller is unplugged, plug the sensor probe into the socket on top of the controller, then plug the controller back into the mains.   Now we can set the temperature, place the sensor where we want to take the reading and the controller will automatically adjust the fan speed to keep the room at the correct temperature. When temperature drops, normally when the lights go out, the fan will slow down to the minimum fan speed that the left hand dial is set to.

Tips
On 1st use or when the controller has been off for a period of time it is necessary to ‘charge’ capacitors in the controller to ensure smooth operation.
To do this simply turn the left dial(minimal fan speed) to max and the right dial(temperature) to minimum, the fan should now run at full speed.
Leave it to run at full speed for 5-10 minutes, then turn the dials to the required settings.
