The Power Grow 500 RO System removes most impurities from tap water at a rate of up to 500 litres per day, or 20 litres per hour, and is ideal for hydroponic and general gardening.
Removing minerals and salts from water allows plants to take up more nutrient and can help to avoid nutrient lockout.
These RO Systems also remove up to 99% of Chlorine, this is important as Chlorine is not good for soil life!
Reverse Osmosis System optimized for use in hydroponics and gardening. Produces up to 500 L/d (up to 20 L/h) of pure water.
Performance
Removes up to 95% of Mineral Salts, Heavy Metals, Chloramines, Nitrates, Nitrites, Sediments, Sand, Oxides, Herbicides, Pesticides and Volatile Organic Pollutants (Chemical Contaminants, Benzene, Oils, Trialomethanes, Detergents, PCBs). Also removes up to 99% chlorine and sediment up to 5 microns immediately!
Includes indoor and garden hose connections.
Usage Tips
The Power Grow 500 comes with all the pipework and fittings necessary for use, once connected to a water supply, the product water can be collected in a water butt.
It is always best to use RO produced water straight away or add nutrient to help stabilize pH.
The amount of water produced is dependent on the water temperature, quality and pressure of the water supply. If the water pressure is low, a GrowMax Booster pump can be added to improve the rate of production.

Water conditions:
– Temperature 25ºC
– Pressure: Min. 3 kg – Max. 6 kg
– Quality – EC (500 tds or ppm – 0.7 EC)
Other conditions can reduce the water production.
It is recommended to replace the filters every 4.000L of water produced.
