The Maxibright UVA and UVB Daylight LED bar is a slim-line, stand-alone unit, which can also be installed as a supplemental light to an existing LED fixture. It will help to fine-tune the spectrum of any set up.

UVA light can deliver drastic improvements in terms of quality and quantity. UVA is found in varying amounts within natural sunlight, and when plants receive UVA light it boosts their production of RV8 proteins, which help increase essential oil production, strengthen the plants and make them more resistant to stress. Adding UV to your lighting array adds weight to your harvest while also improving flavours and taste of your crop.

UVB light are ideal for improving plant quality while killing bacteria and mildew spores as Bacteria and spores find it much harder to reproduce in high UV conditions.

The Maxibright Daylight 60W LED UVA & UVB Bar has 40% UVA and 60% UVB to offer the correct ratio of UV light suited as an add-on to your current Maxibright Daylight units. For correct use of the UVA & UVB bar, run them 15 minutes on, 45 minutes off throughout the entire flowering stage during lights on, the aim being to have 2-6 hours of UV per day.
