The Jiffy Pro7 Coco Coir Brick is the chosen media for many professional flower and vegetable growers because of the consistent quality of coco coir, better temperature control and versatility.
These coco coir bricks are 100% RHP Certified bricks of pressed and dehydrated premium mixed fibre coconut coir. It is washed/buffered and charged with added trace elements and beneficial elements, making it ideal for an all-round potting substrate that is easy and discrete to transport and store, aids faster rooting and develops stronger plants.

Use
Simply soak each brick in 3.5 to 4 litres of lukewarm water, in a bucket, once the water has been absorbed, break the brick up by hand or with a hand fork, this will yield approx. 8 litres of coco peat.
Once prepared, any additional substrates such as perlite, vermiculite or clay pebbles can be mixed into the coco.
Tips
It is sometimes a good idea to pre-charge the coco with nutrient or cal mag before use, the nutrient can be added to the water before soaking.
Calmag and root stimulator at half strength is a good solution for potting on cuttings or seedlings, half strength grow fertiliser can be added for potting on larger plants.
