The latest Mountain Air EC Whisper Fans represent the ideal solution for those looking to combine high performance with whisper-quiet operation. The dual impeller and turbine-style inlet are designed to optimise pressure throughout the fan housing, improving airflow when paired with long or complex ducting runs.
Courtesy of the insulated housing, the EC Whisper Fan delivers class-leading performance whilst remaining near-silent.
As with other EC fans, Whisper Fans offer large power savings especially when running at less than full power.
New for 2024
Mountain Air Whisper EC Fans are now available in 6 Inch(150mm), 8 Inch(200mm), 10 Inch(250mm) and, new for 2024, 12 Inch(315mm).
Mountain Air Whisper EC Fan
Supplied with Mountain Air Fan Speed Controller (FSC)
They are now supplied with the Mountain Air Fan Speed Controller(FSC) making it simple to control the speed of your fan.
Hanging
Hanging tabs at either end of the fan are provided to make hanging the fan simple, the old style mounting bracket is no longer supplied.
Signal Daisy Chain
This new features allows multiple fans to be controlled by a single Mountain Air Environmental Controller (sold separately).
Use
With Fan Speed Controller (FCS)- after installing the fan, ducting, filter etc. Simply plug the male to male signal cable into the fan and speed controller, then plug the power cable into the fan and power socket, now you can control the speed of the fan and commence use.
The Mountain Air Fan Speed Controller (FSC) is supplied with 2024 Whisper EC Fans.
The Mountain Air FSC is a basic controller that can set the fan speed from minimum to maximum.
WARNING – Connecting the FSC to more than 1 fan in Signal Daisy Chain can damage the fan and FSC and is not covered under warranty.
With Environmental Controller (sold separately) – after installation, simply connect the Environmental Controller to the fan using the fitted signal cable, place the temperature probe in the desired location (normally amongst the plant canopy), then plug the power lead into the fan and power socket, the fan is now ready to use.
The Environmental Controller can be used in thermostatic mode (temperature controlled) or manual mode (speed control).
The Environmental Controller allows the Signal Daisy Chain feature to be used, splitter cables (sold separately) are plugged into the fans, the Environmental Controller is connected to the 1st fan and male signal cables are used to connect between the splitter cables.
